BloodLink ("we") runs the BloodLink app and blooddonor.site. Contact: ole.oldhoj@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Everyone: name, email, phone number, password (stored hashed), town and the location you give us (GPS coordinates or a place you choose).
• Donors: blood type, whether you are available, and the date of your last donation if you enter it. Blood type is health data. We only process it because you give us explicit consent when you sign up as a donor.
• Hospitals: organisation name, and billing status from our payment provider (Stripe). We never see card numbers.
• Usage: the searches you make (blood type, radius, location) and the contact requests you send or receive, so we can apply free limits and prevent misuse.

Who sees your data

Donors are anonymous in search results. Others only see blood type, town and a rounded distance. Your name, phone number and email are shared with a hospital or receiver only after you accept their request. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

On our own server in the EU. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How long

Until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account), and all your data, searches and requests are then removed.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent, at any time. Write to us, or complain to your data protection authority.

Children

BloodLink is for people aged 18 and over.
